Combine reading and applying Reflect and Respond practice with quote “Feel the feeling but don’t become the emotion. Witness it! Allow it! Release it!”

  1. REFLECT: take time Pause, Relax & bring the focus to Breathing
After few minutes, reflect on how you are feeling right now.
As you notice the thoughts, feelings, emotions, try to just observe them without any judgements.
Return to breath if you find yourself getting caught up
Continue and when you feel you are grounded
  2. RESPOND: As you allowed what is happening to happen, observe and be a witness, now and let go of what’s not needed.
  3. INTEGRATION Practice during the day: At any time if you feel stress, emotional, angry, anxious, take a pause to Reflect and Respond by letting it go!

I allow myself to feel and Release!

Learn and cultivate “Letting Go and Letting be”,  the Seventh Attitudinal foundations of mindfulness described by Jon Kabat-Zinn as the “major pillars of mindfulness practice”.

We can cultivate Not-Clinging, Not-Holding, Not-Forcing or Pushing away.
Rather we can let go and let things be.
With practicing & observing breathing at end of each breath we let go so that next breath can come in.
We create room for next breath by not holding on to the last breath.

Combine this Affirmation with, Forgiveness meditation which cultivates feelings of letting go, of any resentments, pain or painful experiences helping us free ourselves and allowing ourselves to open our heart. As painful it maybe, to accept and continue. Read more on Forgiveness Meditation
