As a Captain of your ship you have to assess the external conditions like weather or events in our lives. We can Cope in a positive way to challenges in our lives by Surrendering to what is not in your control and with Action about what is in your control.

We have the power and choice.

Exercise: 

REFLECT: Close your eyes, take a deep breath and relax. Once settled, think about a challenge you are facing, perhaps something that is making you anxious. 

RESPOND: Now assess what is in your control and what can you do. Connect with the power inside you and commit to taking action. 

If any aspects come up that you feel are not in control, let go and surrender.

Instead of worrying about what you cant do put your energy towards what you can do.
