Work hard, be kind, and amazing things will happen!

Hey everyone! Recently we have been talking about motivation, but in a different way than we used to. We used to talk about how you can use meditation, affirmations, etc. to help you out and those are awesome! But now we are starting to get into a different approach. This new approach is about believing in yourself, having confidence to get out there and do what you want, and to actually get up and not postpone anything!

One of the main things that will help you is kindness. I am sure that you have heard the phrase “Kill em’ with kindness,” and that’s a really fun and awesome affirmation! being kind and positive to someone even if they are rude to you is a good way to let them know that you are there for them if they need you, and overall makes you feel better about yourself.

Another thing that you can do is work hard whether what you want to do is fun for you or not. Most people know what they want to be and have dreams and goals for what they want to do. But normally those are higher-end careers and take some time and experience to get to. Now that should not discourage you, it should instead encourage you to work harder! You may not like the job and think that you have no motivation, but think about how it will get you to your dream career.

by repeating an Affirmation and a simple meditation practice.

1. REFLECT:

  • Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and Relax.
  • With every Breath in Relax
  • With every Breath Out – Let go
  • Come back to your breath every time you get distracted by thoughts.

2. RESPOND: 

  • See what thoughts come to mind
  • Continue to come back to the breath
  • Pick 1 or more Affirmations (Positive statements)
  • Affirm by repeating them:
    • “I CAN!”
    • “I can change my thoughts!”

3. INTEGRATE:

Remember this practice & Affirmation. Any time you need it, take a pause and remind yourself that you are the Captain of your life, you have the power of choice.
