So easily and so many times we let things that happen around us during the day destroy our Peace. In a second if someone says something we don’t like or negative our face tenses and from a smile we go to being angry. Let’s take this quote as a reminder to not let anything destroy our peace. Hi everyone who is reading! Once again we have another quote by the 14th Dalai Lama. Just to let you know, for some reason i can connect much easier with these quotes and they have real meaning to me. This post is written mainly towards people who have anger issues. I know, I know, it sounds a little like it would be rude but i assure you it is not.
Although a lot of people can at least somehow control their anger, not everyone can completely take over their minds and calm themselves doing so. There are two examples I can give to this quote.
One example is dealing with girls. We all know that there are rude males out there who go and cat-call other females and make dirty comments towards them, correct? Now obviously us females should not just let them go ahead and comment on us like that, but there is no need to say anything to them. That just satisfies their needs of wanting you. You should instead alert anyone nearby or anyone in general to help you address the situation.
My second example could be bullies. 99% of the time, bullies are bullying because they either have problems of their own and want to let it out on others, or are doing it because they are pressured by their peers. If you are being bullied, you shouldn’t try to let them continue, or make the situation worse for yourself. Once again, you are satisfying their needs and that does not benefit you. Instead, you should stick up to them and figure out how to benefit yourself and possibly help them.
My point is, don’t let others’ decisions make you upset or “destroy your inner peace.” Instead, find ways to benefit yourself from the situation, and possibly help the other person solve their problem of why they are doing that. Always try to react with peace and positivity, not violence or negativity.
