“My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.”Dalai Lama
Why Kindness? There are a lot of things going on in this world right now, right?
Well, a lot of these people who are going through these things are trying to embrace kindness. We don’t want anyone to feel as if they are not respected, We can try to spread kindness with everyone we meet and they can spread to who they meet.
A lot of people may look as if they are ok and happy, but they could just be putting on a happy face and we don’t realize it. This is why we should always think before we say anything, to anyone.
No matter what religion you are, one of the main things in each religion is spreading kindness to anyone we meet or see.
Even if you do not practice the teachings of any religion, you should still follow this one rule at least! The Dalai Lama is saying that his religion is kindness, and that is a very good thing. Obviously, every religion has its own way of spreading or teaching kindness. For Dalai Lama it’s as simple as spreading kindness.
I hope you all can spread kindness.
Be kind to anyone and everyone you meet.
It may not seem like a big deal to compliment another person’s shirt, or their smile, or even just give them a hug. But it could make the biggest difference in their day by telling them that.
We should all try to implement this positivity in to our everyday lives and help each other as a community!

Encourage your kids to read and write what this means to them & how they can apply this quote to their lives. Also, consider learning and practicing breathing meditation as a way to help relax and reflect on the message.
