We have all had some type of large task or that we have had to do in life, right? Maybe it could be to get straight A’s for your school year, maybe it could be to join the army. Whatever it is, we have to learn not to give up, no matter how many times we encounter defeat.

No matter how many failures you may have, never give up.

A good example could be trying to get straight A’s in a school year. The first marking period you try your hardest but you do encounter some C’s or B’s in your report card. That does not mean you should give up! In fact, it should make you want to push yourself even harder to find out what you do to achieve success. Just because you encounter defeat does not mean you have a free pass to give up. You have a free pass to go and push yourself even harder.

We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated.

I encourage you to go and figure out something that you really want to do, and figure out a way to get past defeat or failure.

Then, write down the vital needed to achieve that goal, and how you plan to complete them. Good luck. And remember, do not defeat. keep going and find a way to achieve your success!

Encourage your kids to read and write what this means to them & how they apply this quote to their lives. Also, consider learning and practicing breathing meditation as a way to help relax and reflect on the message.
