Hey everyone! Today’s post is by Janet Dailey who i just found out was a best-selling author in the United States! She wrote many many romance novels and her books were translated into 19 different languages with over 300 million (which is 300,000,000) copies sold worldwide! That makes her an Entrepreneur as well!
Now that we know about some of the awesome accomplishments of Janet Dailey, let’s start to talk about her actual quote.”Someday is not a day of the week!” I actually like this quote because although i agree with it very much, it is sort of funny and its something you can tell anyone.
Let me give you an example about something to do with this specific quote. Everyone should be comfortable with showing their bodies, and not feel ashamed. Whether you weight is high or super low there is no need to be afraid to show yourself. If you want to make a change and workout, or gain weight and muscle, that is a different story and you should definitely do that. But even i do this, we cannot keep putting it off. I am not going to lie, when i go to workout, i do 5 minutes, i get tired and i tell myself i will do it later but i don’t even think about coming back in reality. This is something i want to fix and i am going to work on fixing. I tell myself that someday with all of this hard work i will get my results that i want. But the reality is, i will never see or know when someday is because i am not actually putting in hard work.
What i should do, as well as you if you are in a similar situation of losing a little extra weight and gaining muscle, don’t tell yourself that you do a little bit of work and you are done. If you can’t handle it, that is completely different. You should stop and find out what you can do that you are actually capable of and DO NOT overwork yourself. You can get seriously hurt and it won’t be as easy as you think to recover.
If you are planning to gain weight because you had a problem before and you want to put on a little more, that is awesome, and i applaud you for being strong and getting through it. I don’t know much about these situations, and even my situation. So my words may not be physically correct but this is what i think you can do to help yourself. Try to find foods that are NOT unhealthy, but a little more heavier than normal so they can fill you up and help you gain good weight. You shouldn’t eat a bunchof unhealthy processed food because that is not good weight that you are putting on.
The moral of this quote is, that you have to plan out your time and not set your goals to happen someday. No one knows when someday is, no one. But if you give yourself a set date or time to finish by and work to get your gains by then, it doesn’t matter what the results are as long as you put in the work necessary and did the most that you could.
Good luck with whatever goals, or situations you have, it most definitely is not limited to weight gains/losses or working out, there are countless other activities or goals for you to do!
