“When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.”

Dalai Lama

Today we have a quote by the Dalai Lama. in case you did not know, there have so far been 14 Dalai Lamas. Our current Dalai lama is the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people as well. Dalai Lama always encourages positivity, kindness, as well as forgiveness. We should all encourage that as well. For positivity, you should check out my other posts with quotes by The Dalai Lama. For forgiveness posts start off by reading this one!

We all make mistakes, the question is how soon we realize and correct them?

Today we will learn to accept our mistakes and figure out how to fix the situation. This may be a “small situation,” but an example could simply be making a sandwich. If you accidentally add mayo to your brother’s sandwich, and he doesn’t like mayo, what you do to fix the situation? Maybe take that sandwich for yourself if you like mayo and make him a new one!

A more interesting situation could be a webinar.Pretend you are hosting a webinar in front of thousands of people and something goes wrong. Are you going to just let it happen and cancel the webinar? No! You should address the situation and figure out what to do to make the webinar even .

People will be more interested in your work or working with you knowing that you know how to work through a situation under difficult circumstances.

Accepting that we are wrong, that we have made a mistake is an important quality. In order to improve we have to first accept that we all have flaws. We are not perfect and make mistakes and that is ok. What’s not important is that we made a mistake, rather that we realize it, correct it and do our best not to repeat same mistake again.

From now on when you make a mistake, no matter how small or big it is, you have to figure out a way to make it good again. address it, see what people would enjoy after the problem, and make the situation again! WE can all do this anytime!
