I know, a lot of my quotes are about perseverance. But if I am being honest, I really connect with these types of quotes. As a teenager, sometimes I have a tendency to put things off and do them later than I really should. I do many tasks right before they are due.
This is not going to help me become successful, because if I do this at my future job or business, nothing will get done when it needs to. If my work needs revisions then I may not have time to fix it.
What I think that Maharshi means is that you have to put in time and effort for your goals. You cannot just expect them to happen, even if you have talent.
Even talented and successful people work hard to be the best that they can.
FROM NOW ON:
What I strive to put into my daily routine from this quote is to do the needed tasks earlier than the due dates. As an example, If I was to get an assignment that is due in 3 days going forward I will look to block and schedule time.
