Even the smallest act of service… is a way to honor… 9/11

Today September 11th is a day for remembering, and for serving. Congress has declared 9/11 as National Day of Service and Remembrance, and we can do activities like charitable service as a way to honor the 9/11 victims, survivors, and those who rose up in service in response to the attacks.

President Barack Obama on the 10th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States said this quote “Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost, a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11

Lets on this day 9/11 and every day, commit to even the smallest act of service that can honor and help others.

Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost; a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11.

9-11 quote by Barack Obama kindness honor

I know that today is mainly about the attacks, but i just want to talk about this quote by previous President Barack Obama.

What i think that president obama is trying to say is, is that never feel that if you are doing an act of kindness in any way, that it is not enough. no matter what you do it is helping more than you think and you can save someone’s live just by doing little things.
