Becoming an optimist, not a pessimist.

Today our post is inspired by Winston Churchill. Winston Churchill was a British politician, army officer, and writer, as well as a British Prime Minister. Churchill was in the army and while in the army, he wrote multiple books. In case you did not know, we are talking about a pessimist vs an optimist. An example could be that a pessimist will see a glass of water half empty, while an optimist will see a glass half full, get it?

This quote’s example is talking about hard times. If we have a great opportunity, say getting the job of our dreams. We would obviously want to take it. But the job requires a lot of hard work. A pessimist in this example would see that there is so much work that would have to be done, that they would have to spend so much time doing that work and not spending a lot of time “having fun.” An optimist would see that having their dream job, getting a good salary, being able to say that they have that job, is worth it. They would also find a smart way to make the job easier and would find a way to have fun!

I would like you to do your best to be an optimist!

Being pessimistic is not going to help you, nor is it going to make people like you. No one wants to try to go and spend their time with someone who will be negative and not try to have fun! From now on I encourage you to stay an optimist whenever you can and you will start to feel a change in yourself, and it will have a positive impact on others around you.
